Apesar de toda a gente saber que a Kim Basinger seprarou-se dele por reportes de abusos físicos e psicológicos, que existem colegas de peças em que ele entrou que se queixam que Alec Baldwin destruiu adereços em ataques de fúria fazendo com que os colegas temessem a sua integridade física, e que de facto é das pessoas mais difíceis em Hollywood, chegou agora outro choque que veio "manchar" a imagem que ele se esforçava em recuperar. Numa conversa com a filha, Alec Baldwin revela-se, e faz-nos perceber as razões porque Kim Basinger tem sido tão protectora em relação à filha...

Parece que agora a grande discussão é se foi a mãe da miúda, Kim Basinger, que revelou a conversa! O que interessa!... Ela tem-se mantido calada este tempo todo, só intervindo nas alturas próprias, durantes as sessões de tribunal sobre a custódia da filha. Logo não parece um acto que esteja no perfil do comportamente que tem tido.

De uma coisa podem ter a certeza. Se eu estivesse no seu lugar e tivesse ouvido a mensagem, fazia isto, e se calhar pior!...
